Credit reporting will now use the Original Creditor instead of the client name or alias when it exists on the Original Creditor aux screen on the account.
The Consumer Contact Event will now log its action codes to be shown on the Collector Daily Time Usage report.
These will display the same way as the LEGACY action codes, as a separate line item appearing below the main action code.
The behavior of the “Check Validation Date Prior to First Reporting” flag in Credit Reporting System Definitions has changed.
If this flag is “Y”, the system will now always check the Validation End Date prior to the first time reporting an account to the credit bureaus.
If an account is still in its validation period, the account will not be reported to the credit bureaus until after its validation period has expired.
If this flag is “N”, the system will instead check if the consumer has already been contacted.
If a contact exists, the account will continue through the reporting process.
If no contact is found, the system will check the Validation Mail Return Flag.
If a validation mail return has been received, the account will be added to the exception report.
If no validation mail return has been received, the account will continue through the reporting process.
