Call Caps, Communication Tracking, and Limited Content Message in QwikDial

Beyond Build 2.14.8 or higher
Article Release Date - Nov 9, 2021

Purpose

To better comply with Regulation F going into effect Nov 30, 2021, DAKCS has added new features to QwikDial and Beyond ARM to better track contacts and attempts. These new features include the added ability to define contact types on Directives in Beyond, a new Limited Content Message Node, and an added Beyond Directive to handle the limited content message.

QwikDial Directive Settings

QwikDial is a versatile platform that makes the determination of what kinds of actions are being performed and whether they are considered a contact or an attempt challenging at times.

To be able to address the variety of situations that can arise varying from customer to customer, DAKCS has developed an interface that will allow everyone to control what they want to consider a contact or an attempt when using QwikDial and Beyond together. This will be accomplished by defining what directives Beyond gets from Qwikdial as either a contact, an attempt, or neither.

In order to set the directives to the contact type that best fits your office, you will need to navigate to the new “Maintain Directives” menu option.

Maintain Directives Menu Option

After you click on the “Maintain Directives” menu option, you will be presented with the list of all available directives that are set up on your system. This includes all System and User Defined Directives. The list will consist of the directive number, name, type, and contact type.

DAKCS has defined the System Directive Contact Types with default types that we found appropriate for the directives. It will be up to you to define the Contact Types if you want anything different than the defaults.

For example, a scenario could be where a Party Connect is set to ‘None’ since most choose to transfer Party Connects to agents, and then the agent will need to run the Consumer Contact action to track the contact or attempt.

Define Contact Type for Directive

To Define the Contact Type, find the directive you want to set. Click on the drop-down arrow to the right and select one of the 3 options available.
  1. None
  2. Attempt
  3. Contact

Limited Content Message

To handle the Limited Content Message within QwikDial we added a new node that is specifically designed for leaving an approved Limited Content Message as outlined in Regulation F.

After setting up this node, you can add this node into any dialog in QwikDial where you want to leave an approved Limited Contact Message as defined by the CFPB.
